Post #73: First Model UN Conference

It’s debate. It’s international affairs. It’s solving modern issues through research, collaboration, and a strong resolve to enact change. It’s Model UN. I recently had the pleasure of attending my first Model UN conference, where I won Best Delegate on the Commission of Science and Technology for Development.

Relay for Life is an event in collaboration with the Canadian Cancer Society where schools from across the nation come together as a community to raise money and awareness for those impacted by cancer. Last year, on the 16th year that Newmarket High School had been partaking in Relay for Life, we reached our million dollar milestone. I hope you like it and I wish you all the best for 2021!!

Usually when we think of art, we think of a drawing on paper, made with traditional mediums such as pencil, pen and paint. However, art is MUCH more than that. Artistic creativity can be expressed in many untraditional ways. In this post, I have created a piece of art where nature is my canvas, and instead of using ink, I used interesting items I could find right outside my house.

Electrical Vehicles Series (Part 1)

When we open our eyes in the morning, we see a flash of light. It’s the sun rays streaming through our windows. But as the day progresses, the sun slowly fades away, and by the time it’s evening, the sky is almost completely gray. But there is still light. There is still something to brighten our lives so that we don’t have to dwell in darkness.
