Post #16: My love, my strength, my lifeline, MY ISHITA…

My ISHITA

Ever wonder who our first teachers are?? The ones who teach us things before we go to school, while we are going to school and even after school?? That’s right… it is our parents! In my post today, I am not posting something I wrote but a post my mom wrote for me on my birthday. Thank you mom!!!!!!!!

My love, my strength, my lifeline, MY ISHITA…

She, who gave me strength in my weakest moments,
She, who made me smile in my painful ones,

She, who made me responsible when I myself needed help,
She, who made me hold her when I couldn’t hold myself,

She, who was once a baby crying and cooing in sickness,
She, who has now grown up in to an amazing young child all in wellness,

She, who once held my fingers with her very tiny ones,
She, who now holds my hand and shows me the way,

She, who once looked at me for every single thing,
She, who now looks at the world in her own special way,

She, who faced challenges every step of the way,
She, who fought and won and turned things her way,

She, who makes me think what did I do to deserve her,
She, who makes me very proud every step of the way,

She, who turns to me in every hour of need,
She, who made me become her friend, philosopher and guide,

She, who learnt to believe – I can do it, I will do it, I will show the world I can,
She, who is showing the world she can!

She, who calls me mom,
She, who cares for me when I miss my mom,

My love, my strength, my lifeline, MY ISHITA!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY DEAR!
