Eyes are seen as the windows to the soul. Human eyes are so spectacular, so different, so fascinating. We know this because we see them everyday. But humans aren’t the only species with eyes. I recently decided to research some animal eyes, and draw them . I found four animals whose eyes I found particularly interesting. It lights the night sky, the panthers eye, through the beautiful tint of blue. Notice, the eagles eyes are sharp and focused, like an arrow about to hit a bullseye. Then you have the dragon’s eye, though mythical they are, they are bold, unique and majestic. Finally, you can’t forget the eye of the snake, enchanting all with its mesmerizing eyes. I really love how these turned out, and how distinct the shading and blending is. I hope this art piece has revealed some of the beauty of eyes that we don’t get to see in our day-to-day lives.
