The Art-A-Thon is a fundraiser where students pledge to create murals on school walls for 12 hours straight in order to promote inclusivity and an arts awareness throughout the school. With our design for the event, we hoped to promote the message that life is a wondrous thing, and that science plays an integral part in allowing one to truly experience life.
Society revolves around the usage of industrial chemicals. They have their advantages, but more often than not, they are also a detriment to public health and the environment. 2020 has been a different year full of plenty of hardships. Hopefully, 2021 will be a much better year than this one, and will act as our light at the end of our tunnel. This is what I have represented in my art piece. I drew in colour pencil, a damp, narrow tunnel forming in the darkness, and at the end of it, a bright lantern, our hope for a brighter future.
